What to expect at your first visit

Entrance Paperwork: Filling out this paperwork is important, as it allows the doctor to assess the extent of your problem while meeting with you. All the necessary paperwork can be emailed or faxed to you to shorten your time in the office.

- Consultation: The doctor will give you a FREE consultation. During this, the doctor will sit down and talk with you about your condition to see if you qualify for NUCCA care. If NUCCA care isn't relevant to your condition, the doctor is happy to recommended trusted practitioners to better suit your needs.
- Exam: A thorough examination will be done to evaluate on your spine and to recognize any pressure on your brainstem. The doctor will look at your posture, nerve function, muscle tension/soreness, reflexes, and leg length deficiency.
- X-rays: If a misalignment and pressure is found, x-rays are taken prior to getting adjusted to determine the precise degrees and measurements of spinal mis-alignment. This information is vital to correcting the mis-alignment.
- Report: Once the x-rays are analyzed, the doctor will go over your findings to show you what was found, as well as educate you on the condition and the procedure.
- Test Adjustment: After informing you about your misalignment, the doctor will adjust your spine using the NUCCA procedure, and take another set of x-rays after the adjustment to verify the correction made on your spine.
- Follow Up Visit: Once the correction is complete, your first follow-up visit is scheduled for 3 days later. On this visit, the doctor will evaluate and check the correction, review your treatment plan, and verify that you are progressing as expected.
