Muscle Spasms

I started having stiffness in my lower back with muscle spasms
about a year ago. I was also having shooting pains in my hip and
left leg. I had also noticed a weakness in my left leg. The stiffness
in my back had gotten progressively worse...to the point that I
had to “roll” out of bed in the mornings. About 8 months
ago, I slipped and severely sprained my right ankle. I saw an orthopedist
for that and when I had recovered, I consulted with him regarding
a sore right knee and my lower back. He said he could see no problems
and recommended exercise to strengthen my muscles. I was very frustrated
and thought there had to be another answer. I was fortunate when
I was referred to Dr. Salminen by a friend who spoke highly of him.
Since seeing Dr. Salminen, I can get out of bed each morning without
experiencing excruciating lower back pain. Before NUCCA, I couldn’t
stand for more than a few minutes. Now I have no pain while standing
or sitting and I can walk better. The pain in right knee is also
much better. The weakness in my left leg is gone and I feel back
to my “old self” when I go walking. I sleep so much
better and I feel a lot less stress because of that.
Dr. Salminen and Dr. Weniger have always made sure I understood
what was being done and made me feel comfortable about asking questions.
The last time I saw a chiropractor was 25 years ago and the treatment
hurt. This time there was no pain involved—just relief. NUCCA
is a wonderful method that has turned me into a believer of this
type of chiropractic care and Dr. Salminen specifically.
